In a hand held dispenser which stores different liquids and keeps the liquids separate, a valve housing 6 has a valve stem 5 axially slidable in bore 7 of the housing 6 between a non-dispensing position and a dispensing position in which the liquids are mixed and discharged. In one embodiment the valve stem 5 engage longitudinal ribs 16 and 7 in the upper part of the bore 7 to form two chambers 18 and 19; chamber 18 being in permanent communication with the liquid inflexible bag 23 by way of bore 7, chamber 19 being in permanent communication with the liquid in can 1 by way of passage 20 and dip tube 22. In the dispensing position the liquids make contact and mit over the shoulder 10 and are forced out through the passage 14 into the hollow stem. The interior of the can 1 includes a propellant which pressurizes both liquids. In another embodiment the chambers are formed by a pair of longitudinal channels in the valve housing, Fig. 8 (not shown). In a further embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown) a plurality of ribs and two longitudinal channels form the chambers. |
