<p>A fluid control device for a liquid transfusion line comprises an inlet connector and an outlet connector, and a flexible conduit defining two, three or more passageways extending in parallel between them to provide a plurality of parallel paths for the flow of the fluid. The device further includes a restrictor in one or more but of the passageways restricting the flow according to a fixed predetermined rate lower than that of unrestricted passageway, and a manual control member for selectively closing the passageways to produce a flow of the fluid from the inlet connector to the outlet connector according to a preselected fixed rate.</p> |
