PURPOSE: To produce a rotationally symmetric object of a planned specified size by optical detecting the position where a metal melt is sprayed to the manufactured object at the time of manufactured the rotationally symmetric object by spraying the metal melt thereto. CONSTITUTION: The metal melt in a storage vessel 1 is sprayed from a pendulum type nozzle 2 (a swing angleα) in the bottom to form fine droplets, which are sprayed to the produced object 5 under rotation. At this time, the object is irradiated with a band 12 of a laser beam from a transmitter 20 and the object 5 is cut on the outer side sprayed with the droplets of the metal of a spray plane 4. The position of the spray plane 4 is located by a receiver 11 and the measured value is sent to a controller 13. This controller 13 compares the measured value and the target value of the spray plane and controls the descending of a rod 5 for supporting the object 5 via a transporting device 7 or regulates the outflow rate of the melt.
