PURPOSE:To obtain an impregnation type air purifying agent always high in practicality by providing physical properties such that a specific surface area due to the measurement of a porosimeter is 100m<2>/g or more and a pore volume is 0.5-0.7ml/g. CONSTITUTION:An air purifying agent is formed by supporting potassium permanganese by an inorg. molded carrier and has physical properties such that the specific surface area thereof due to the measurement of a porosimeter is 100m<2>/g or more and the pore volume thereof is 0.5-0.7ml/g. As the inorg. molded carrier, for example, one or more kind of oxide of a metal selected from Mg, Al, Si, Zr, Ti or the like, silicate and alumnosilicate like zeolite are designated but activated alumina low in crystallinity is especially pref. |
