PURPOSE:To enable recording in a long wavelength region by specifying a Cu-phthalocyanine as the guest component of the recording material and using such a polymer compatible with the guest component as the host component. CONSTITUTION:The guest component is a Cu-phthalocyanine expressed by formula I, while the host component is a polymer compatible with the guest component. In formula I, at least one of X1-X4 is an ionic group and others are hydrogen atom or non-ionic groups. By using the material which consists of the ionic Cu-phthalocyanine having a large conjugated system and the poly mer soluble with the guest component, wavelength region for recording is extended to longer wavelength such as 660-690 nm. Thereby, recording with long wavelength light can be realized. |
