Ring-frame conveyor system - has vertical endless band with carrier attached to convey cop-plates

A conveyor system around a ringspinning frame supplies empty tubes and transports full packages from the spinning units by means of carriers attached at the appropriate distance apart, to a vertical endless band, running in between rails. Pref. the carrier (14) has a gap (12) suitable for a cop-plate. It is attached to one side of an upright metal band (10) which drives the conveyor. At the other side of the band it is bolted to another section, made from a material which can glide smoothly in the channel formed by two identical rails (18, 19) each of U section, so that support surfaces (20, 21), as well as side surfaces (22, 23) are provided. The carrier surfaces (15, 17) are curved to reduce friction, and also curved on the inside. ADVANTAGE - The system is secure, economical and simple.
