The device for detachably clamping, tensioning and securing cables and wires etc has a thick walled housing with an axial recess or longitudinal bore containing an axially displaceable spring-loaded clamping body (5) which has on opposite sides an axial projection (6). The housing (1) contains opposing guide slits (27) for guiding the axial projections and the ends of these projections form handles protruding over the housing. The handles can be discs (10). The clamping body can be a spherical roller and the longitudinal bore (2) can be a recess with rectangular cross section. ADVANTAGE - The axial projection ensures accurate alignment and guidance of the clamping body without danger of jamming. |
