PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having excellent corrosion resistance, almost free from peeling and crack even at high temp. and high humidity, by forming a specified intermediate layer having excellent adhesion property between a substrate and a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:On the substrate, there are successively formed an intermediate layer, protective layer and recording layer. The protective layer may have a single or multilayer structure. The intermediate layer consists of SiZr only or some additives may be used. Namely, it is required that the intermediate layer essentially consists of SiZr. Since the SiZr film has excellent adhesion property to both of substrate and protective layer, the obtd. optical recording medium is almost free from crack and peeling even in an accelerated deterioration test under high temp. and high humidity conditions Thus, corrosion resistance of the medium can be improved. |
