PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of internal stress in an optical fiber and to obtain the fiber worked optical device which has stable characteristics by fixing plural optical fibers to a plate type reinforcing member with metallic nets. CONSTITUTION:The jacket removed parts of the optical fiber 2 which have their jackets removed partially are worked and the peripheries of the jacket removed parts are reinforced to obtain the fiber worked type optical device; and a groove 5 which is shallower than the diameter of the optical fibers 2 is formed in the plate type member 4. Then couples of metal parts 6 are provided on the plate type member 4 across the groove 5, the optical fibers 2 are mounted along the groove 5 of the plate type member 4, and both end parts of the metallic nets 7 are fixed to the couple of metal parts 6 to fix the jacket parts of the optical fibers 2 to the plate type member 4. Consequently, characteristic deterioration is small and stable characteristics are realized. |
