<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the high speed of particulates in exhaust gas and prevent a filter from being damaged by installing a diffuser or diffusers disturbing exhaust gas flow hitting directly otherwise the inlet of filter on the exhaust gas upstream side of the filter. CONSTITUTION:A diffuser or diffusers 15 disturbing exhaust gas flow hitting directly otherwise the inlet of a filter 1 for the filter 1 removing particulates in the exhaust gas are installed on one stage or on a plurality of stages on the exhaust gas up-stream side of the filter 1. The diffusers 15 are formed of a material such as a plate metal, ceramic or the like with a plurality of openings, or a wire mesh or the like. As a result, the high speed of particulates in the exhaust gas is reduced to prevent the filter from being damaged. The exhaust gas filter can be stabilized for a long time and work safely.</p> |
