PURPOSE:To execute normally call processing even when a fault takes place in any channel by providing an idle channel display signal detecting means and a radio wave presence detecting means to a radio terminal station and using the detecting means to connect a call to a radio base station thereby decreasing the call processing time. CONSTITUTION:The system is brought into the operating state and the presence of the reception of an incoming call from a radio base station is checked at the radio terminal station. When the reception of an incoming call exists, the incoming processing proceeds. When the no incoming call is received conversely, the presence of making call (the call is detected by the call detecting circuit 12 and the result is given to a control section 10) is checked by the control section 10. When no call exists, an idle channel display signal (free mark signal) (this signal is detected by the idle channel display signal detecting circuit 13 and transmitted to the control section 10) is checked for the presence by the control section 10 to stand-by channels. When the idle channel display signal exists, the system is brought into the stand-by state and when no idle channel display signal exists, the channel is changed over after the elapsed time represented by an interval time in the control section. |
