PURPOSE:To obtain a color still picture which has superior resolution and color reproducibility by scanning an image, formed on one image pickup element through respective color filters, by even-numbered and odd-numbered fields separately according to respective colors, and storing and reading them in time series. CONSTITUTION:A subject image is formed on a solied image pickup element 2 through color filters which change in color according to the rotation of a filter disk 3. Then, the rotary phase of the disk 3 is detected by detecting circuits 6 and 7 and then encoded by a converting circuit 8 into a prescribed pulse signal, which is supplied to a channel selector 13 through lines D and E. On the other hand, a signal synchronizing with the filter switching of the disk 3 is supplied from the circuit 8 to a scanning synchronizing circuit 9 through a line C. From this circuit 9, a vertical synchronizing signal is sent to the element 2 and selector 13 through a line V, and a horizontal synchronizing signal is sent to the element 2 and an A/D converting element 12 through a line H. consequently, synchronized pieces of information on respecive colors are outputted separately by odd-numbered and even-numbered fields from the selector 13. |
