PURPOSE:To prevent the separation, tearing or the like of the edge of a covering body from occurring even when sideway force is applied by a method wherein a flexible synthetic resin circular sheet is welded to the bottom of an intermediate tubular body with a jig and the intermediate tubular body, to which the bottom sheet has been welded, is turned inside out so as to bring its printed surface outside. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular sheet 3, which contains the desired pattern and has the predetermined dimensions, is cut out of flexible synthetic resin sheet 1, on which the desired pattern is printed. Next, tubular parts 4 are formed by bending and welding both the upper and lower end parts of the rectangular sheet 3. The right and left edges of the rectangular sheet with the formed tubular parts are lapped to each other in such a manner that its printed surface faces inside so as to form an intermediate tubular body 5 by welding said overlapped edges together. After that, a flexible synthetic resin circular sheet is welded with a jig 6 to the bottom of the intermediate tubular body 5. Next, the resultant intermediate tubular body 5 is turned inside out so as to bring its printed surface outside. Finally, an opening 11, the shape of which is equal to the profile of an electric cell box, is formed so as to obtain the desired tubular covering body. |
