Producing a thin, deep-drawn can, and comprises (i) applying a crystalline thermoplastic resin onto a metallic sheet, (ii) drawing the coated sheet by heating it to a temp. beyond the (Tg) of the thermoplastic resin and (iii) redrawing the drawn cup by heating it to a temp. beyond the (Tg) of the thermoplastic resin and drawing it again at a bending-stretching speed of at least 1 m/min. A deep-drawn can having remarkably improved corrosion resistance and heat resistance can be produced while remarkably reducing damage to the coating layer. @(24pp).
