This invention relates to a composite sheet for a reinforcing material consisting of a web containing reinforcing long fiber bundles and a single fiber-like thermoplastic polymer fiber. This sheet is characterized in that the thermoplastic polymer fiber comes between the long fibers constituting the web and is entangled and integrated with the latter. The composite sheet is produced by depositing or incorporating the thermoplastic polymer fiber onto or into the web in a single yarn form and by applying a fluid jet stream to it.
