PURPOSE:To expectedly obtain an output picture by writing the first (second) multilevel information for a black (white) change point, incrementing (decrementing) a counter when the first (second) multilevel information are read out and outputting black while the count value of the counter is more than 1. CONSTITUTION:A picture memory 12 and the black change point are allocated to 1 (01) and a white change point is allocated to 2(10). Then, a black picture element not to require painting (picture element to output black as it is) is allocated to 3(11) and the other picture elements are allocated to 0(00). When the value read from the picture memory 12 is 1 in the case of the black change point, a decode part 13 increments a paint instruction counter 14 by 1 and in the case of 2 (white change point), the counter is decremented by 1. When the value is 0 or 3, neither increment nor decrement is executed. Thus, the expected output picture can be obtained concerning any case. |
