摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the free running distance by controlling a drive wheel braking means so as to provide a vehicle acceleration change for a specified time on the basis of the working machine position, load, etc., at the time of the applicable shifting when it is judged that the type of shift at the specified position is forward/backward shifting. CONSTITUTION:Shift position is specified by a shift range lever 28 to be operated by an operator. When a calculation control device 26 judges that the type of the applicable shifting is forward/backward shifting, the control device 26 calculates the car speed at shifting, the working machine position, load, and the made specify signal from the output signal from a transmission output shaft revolving speed sensor 15. On the basis of the result from this calculation, the acceleration change for the time to meet the conditions is read out of the memory in this calculation control device 26, and a drive wheel braking device 23 is operated so as to provide the read acceleration change. This should shorten the free running distance of the car at the time of forward/backward shifting, and thereby hazard of colliding with an object is avoided.
