<p>A catalyst for olefin polymerization which comprises:
Component (A) which is a solid catalyst component obtained by contacting the following components (i) to (iv):
<UnorderedLists id="ula01" listStyle="none"><ListItem>(i) a solid component comprising titanium, magnesium and halogen as essential elements,</ListItem><ListItem>(ii) a silicon compound represented by the formula (I):
R¹<Sub>m</Sub>X<Sub>n</Sub>Si(OR²)<Sub>4-m-n</Sub> (I)
wherein, R¹ and R² each represent a hydrocarbon residue, X represents a halogen, and each of m and n is an integer in the range of 0≦m≦3, 0≦n≦3, and 0≦m+n≦3,</ListItem><ListItem>(iii) a silicon compound represented by the formula (III):
R⁴<Sub>4-ℓ</Sub>SiXℓ (III)
wherein R⁴ represents hydrogen or a hydrocarbon residue, X represents a halogen, and ℓ is an integer in the range of 0<ℓ≦4, and</ListItem><ListItem>(iv) an organoaluminum compound; and Component (B) which is an organoaluminum compound.</ListItem></UnorderedLists></p> |
