<p>Improved thermoplastic rubber and process for its manufacture, the said rubber being of the type comprising a first thermoplastic rubber in which the thermoplastic member is an elastomer. This rubber also comprises, mixed with this first thermoplastic rubber, either a conventional rubber or a second thermoplastic rubber in which the thermoplastic member is also an elastomer, the said second thermoplastic rubber then being of a different kind from that of the first thermoplastic rubber, the conventional rubber or the second thermoplastic rubber used in combination with the first thermoplastic rubber, compatible or made compatible with the said first thermoplastic rubber, having been finely dispersed in this first thermoplastic rubber and having been vulcanised in situ with the aid of a vulcanising agent which is inactive towards the said first thermoplastic rubber. The rubber according to the invention is noteworthy in that it makes it possible to obtain low Shore A hardness values.</p> |
