A substantially L-shaped device 10 for attachment to a concrete wall includes two adjacent plates 11 and 12 and an arcuate corner portion 13 formed at an outer corner of the two plates. Two inner surfaces 111 and 121 of the two plates are disposed on two surfaces of a corner of a wall so that the two inner surfaces 111 and 121 of the two plates are in contact with two outer surfaces of the wall. In finishing a concrete wall, two devices 10 are disposed at two outer corners of a wall, the surfaces 112, 122 being used to provide a level for the first coat of plaster, the second coat being levelled with the surface of corner 13.
