PURPOSE:To obtain a solar cell easy to manufacture and easy to make in large size by spreading 1mm or less diameter semiconductor grains all over a substrate and forming a semiconductor layer for forming a junction on the former. CONSTITUTION:A title solar cell includes 1mm or less size first conductivity type semiconductor crystal grains 2 spreaded on a conductive substrate 1 and a second conductivity type semiconductor layer 5 provided to form a pn junction with the crystal grains 2. More specifically, the 1mm or less diameter first conductivity type semiconductor crystal grains 2 are spread all over and to the conductive substrate 1, and the second conductivity type semiconductor layer 5 is formed so as to form the pn junction on the semiconductor crystal grains with the crystal grains 2. Hereby, the manufacture of the cell is achieved with a simple process and of the large size cell is easy without employing particular arrangement and particular device. |
