<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the emission of SO2 and/or NOx in the combustion process, by blowing hydrated particles of calcium cyanamide enveloped with a hydrate mantle from a mixing nozzle into the combustion chamber in the form of a droplet-powder fluidized bed, with the help of a carrier medium comprising air, water and water vapor. CONSTITUTION: When a hydrated calcium cyanamide enveloped with a hydrate mantle is inserted into a combustion chamber through a mixing nozzle with the help of a carrier medium, while they are distributed uniformly in the form of fine dispersion, it obtains an optimal reactivity as additives for reducing acidic harmful substance from combustion process. Then, the reduction of sulfur and nitrogen oxide are realized significantly. In advantage, the additives are blown from a variable mixing nozzle together with carrier and fuel gas medium comprising air, water vapor and water. At this time, individual hydrated particles of calcium cyanamide are necessary to be enveloped with a closed hydrate mantle during transfer, and the corresponding amount of water is added to a carrier-fuel gas medium.</p> |
