PURPOSE:To improve an operating sensation as well as to keep off any inconvenience causing a sense of incompatibility by installing a minimum range switch selectable with switching operation after separating a minimum range securing an engine brake state at the lowest shift speed, from select lever operation. CONSTITUTION:Among plural numbers of forward ranges to be selected by operation of a select lever 50, a minimum range being fixed to the lowest shift speed is constituted of operating an I range switch after separating from selector lever operation. In consequence, selection of the minimum range is able to be removed from this select lever operation, whereby an operating sensation in case of selecting a range position with the select lever 50 is improved, so that such an inconvenience that other ranges are selected by mistake and a sense of incompatibility at time of gear shifting is caused there can be brought to nothing. In addition, with the minimum range removed from the select lever operation, an operating stroke of the select lever 50 is reduced and an occupied space of the select lever operation can be reduced. |
