PURPOSE: To eliminate the reaction of a cone disk transmission resulting from operations by disposing a changeover switch for connecting a selected one of two torque sensors to a pressure medium return line. CONSTITUTION: A control unit 42 feeds corresponding control values, on one hand, to selector valves 40 and 41, and on the other, to a positioning unit 44 for positioning a slider 45 in a spool valve 10 in opposing directions. A pressure cylinder chamber 46 within a changeover switch 19 is connected to an output shaft 38 out of the selector valve 40 communicating with a follower-side clutch 33 in planetary gears 26, and an alternate changeover member 47 connects a torque sensor 16 or 17 to a return line 18 if the need arises against the action of a spring 48 with the aid of oil pressure governing the chamber 46. The switching position where the line 18 is connected to the sensor 16 sets the clutch 33 engaged, while that where the line 18 is connected to the sensor 17 sets it disengaged. The cone disk transmission is thus free from latency in its reaction, or resultant variations of the spool valve 10. |
