PURPOSE:To stand the tufts of a toner to perform development finely by fixing the magnetic pole of a developing roller opposing to a recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:Voltage proportional to an image signal is applied between electrode segments 8' instaled separately on the surface of a developing roller and a recording multineedle electrode 1 to transfer a toner to a recording belt 4. Since a magnetic roller 6 for holding the high insulating magnetic toner on the surface of the developing roller is fixed, the S pole is always opposed to the recording multineedle electrode 1 and the long tufts of the toner are extended and are in contact with the recording belt 4. By rotating only a developing sleeve 5, the toner fitted to the surface of the sleeve is transported. |
