PURPOSE:To provide good flame retardation owing to formation of firm carbides during combustion and prevent evolution of harmful halogen-type gases. CONSTITUTION:The title power cable is coated with a coating layer consisting of 100 pts.wt. of polyolefin, >=50 pts.wt. of aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide, and >=10 pts.wt. of calcium hydroxide. Aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide which has 0.1-5mum of particle size and is surface-treated with fatty acids, fatty acid metal salts, silane coupling agents, or titanate coupling agent is used. Surface treated calcium hydroxide is used as well, and as a surface treatment agent, fatty acids, fatty acid salts, silane coupling agents, and titanate coupling agents can be used. |
