<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a molded article which retains the hardness of a polyurethane resin and has improved heat resistance, by mixing a polyisocyanate compd. having a specified MW with a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and thermoforming the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A polyisocyanate compd. having an MW of 300 or higher is mixed with a thermoplastic polyurethane resin. The mixture is thermoformed. When said polyisocyanate has an MW less than 300, the amount of addition is reduced, but there is a tendency to form molded articles having variability in physical properties due to the variation of the amount of addition and heat resistance can not stably be improved. Examples of said thermoplastic polyurethane resins are those obtd. by using a polyol having an MW of 500-6,000 such as polyethylene adipate or polycaprolactone, an org. diisocyanate such as 4,4'- diphenylmethane diisocyanate and a chain extender such as a glycol.</p> |
