<p>PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. capable of decorating inexpensively and readily rigid materials such as melamine resins with decorative finish having smooth surface and excellent resistance to wear, water and boiling water, etc., consisting of a urea/guanamine co-condensate or a modified melamine resin, lactic acid and a pigment. CONSTITUTION:An ink compsn. consists of 10-30pts.wt. urea/guanamine co-condensate or a modified melamine resin, 50-80pts.wt. lactic acid and 0.5-15pts.wt. pigment. 1-100pts.wt. water may be added to 100pts.wt. said ink compsn. to adjust the viscosity. Further, 0.3-3pts.wt. ethylhydroxy-cellulose, PVA or polyvinyl- pyrrolidone may be added to 100pts.wt. said compsn. to inhibit sagging during coating and to improve adhesion to surfaces to be coated. An appropriate amount of the fine powder of active alumina or the ultrafine particles of anhydrous silica as a matting agent may be added.</p> |
