<p>PURPOSE:To surely decide a fact that the human body exists in a room by providing a conductive film extended and provided on the ceiling surface and the floor surface of the room, and a capacity detecting means for detecting a capacitance between these conductive films. CONSTITUTION:As for the room-stay detecting device, a conductive film A3 and a conductive film B3' are connected through a signal line A4 and a signal line B4', and electrostatic information of a room 1 is obtained by a capacity detecting means 13. In this state, by this information, a signal is outputted from the capacity detecting means 13, this signal is received by a room-stay deciding means 14, and by comparing and calculating its capacitance against the reference value, whether the human body 2 exists in the room 1 or not is detected and the number of persons staying in the room is decided, and in accordance with a result of its decision, electric power for an illumination 7 is controlled. Also, in the case it is decided that the human body 2 does not exist in the room 1, electric power supply to the illumination 7 is stopped, and in the case the human body stays in the room, electric power is supplied.</p> |
