PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from scattering from an opening part opposed to a photosensitive body of a developing device by macking plural holes on the side wall of a housing opposed to the photosensitive body, and making these plural holes communicate by a communicating path. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary sleeve 6 of a developing roll 7 rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow B, an air of the surface of the developing roll 7 flows as a laminar flow in the direction as indicated with an arrow E. In the bottom part of a housing 2 of a developing device, a developer 8 which has adhered onto the surface of the developing roll 7 goes into the developer 8 which has collected on the bottom part in advance, but an air which has flowed in along the surface of the developing roll 7 does not go into the developer 8 which has collected on the bottom part in advance, and pressure in a space C of the bottom part becomes high. subsequently, the air flows out as an arrow H to the outside of the housing 2 from a hole 10. When the air going toward said hole 10 from an opening part of the housing flows to the arrow E from the arrow E, a flow of an air led into the housing from the outside of the housing in the vicinity of the opening part is also generated an arrow M, therefore, an air in which a developer powder such as a toner, a carrier, etc. is floating does not leak out but a clean air goes in. |
