PURPOSE:To improve feeding property of a filler wire and to permit easy welding operation in nonconsumable electrode type welding using the filler wire by providing adjustably a wire reel and a feed mechanism thereof to a holder for gripping a nonconsumable electrode. CONSTITUTION:A wire 57 drawn out from a filler wire reel 56 housed in a cover 58 is fed by a feed roller, pressing piece, etc. and is brought through pipes 14, 13, 15, 16, 21 to a prescribed position. The sealing gas and feed and waste cooling water entering the insulating part 35 of a member 50 for supporting a nonconsumable electrode through a hose 52 or the like is supplied through slits 28, 33 (34) and through respective pipes 27 and 30, 32 to an electrode head 51. A wire guiding tube 21 is directionally changed and is extended corontracted by means of a nut 22 and a ring 162. A cable 53 and hoses are supported in the lower part of a torch holder so as to cross the feed line for the wire 57 in this device and therefore the workability in semiautomatic welding in all attitudes is improved. |
