PURPOSE:To increase a cooling air quantity by forming an extended portion covering the outer circumference of a rotor at the blade of a turbo-fan fixed to the top end of the rotor of a generator. CONSTITUTION:A turbo-fan 5 is fixed to the top end of the rotor 4 of a generator 3 driven by an engine 1. An engine cover 7 is provided on the outer circumference of the engine 1. A plurality of blades 12 are formed at the turbo-fan 5, and a shroud ring 13 is formed at the front end of each blade 12. And an intake port 7a facing to the front portion of the turbo-fan 5 is formed in the engine cover 7. An extended portion 12a covering the outer circumference of the rotor 4 is formed on the blade 12. The outside air supplied under pressure in a centrifugal direction by the blades 12 is smoothly straightened along the curved surface of the shroud ring 13 and an area in contact with the outside air is increased by the extended portion 12a so that the air quantity is increased. |
