PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture deep drawing formed products free from local uneven thickness or density through an automated line by such an arrangement wherein at the deep drawing part of a male metal mold, a projection for tentatively pressing a mat which is constructed so that its top end can be retracted to the surface of the metal mold at the time of compression is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a felt-like mat 10 (mat for dry forming) which is obtained by mixing thermosetting type resin, etc in woody pulp or fibrous substance and forming the mixture to a mat is molded into a deep contracted formed product with heat and pressure applied, a male metal mold 16 wherein a projection 18 for tentatively pressing the mat, which is constructed so that its top end can retracted to the bottom surface 16a of the metal mold at the time of compression is provided at the deep contraction part 16 of the male metal mold 16 and a female metal mold 12 are used. The projection 18 for tentatively pressing mat is composed of a shaft 22 which freely slides along a sleeve 20 inside the male metal mold and a pad 24 installed to the lower end thereof, and a pad accepting part 26 into which the pad 24 exactly enters to be engaged is formed at the lower surface 16a of the male metal mold 16. |
