PURPOSE:To eliminate a chrominance carrier signal and a residual luminance signal of a lower side adjacent channel from an output of a synchronizing detector by filtering the chrominance carrier signal and the residual luminance signal of a lower side adjacent channel from an output of an A-D converter by means of a vertical filter and subtracting the filtered signal from an output of the A-D converter by means of a subtractor. CONSTITUTION:An output x(n) from a video signal filter 30 is fed to a terminal 41 as an input. Multipliers 43-0,43-1-43-N are connected to the tap of a terminal 41 and 1H delay elements 42-1,42-2-42-N, an adder 44 adds outputs of the multipliers 43-0,43-2,43-4-43-N, an adder 45 adds outputs of the multipliers 43-1,43-3-43-(N-1), an adder 46 adds outputs of the adders 44,45 and a subtractor 47 subtracts outputs of the adders 44,45. A chrominance carrier signal y(n)c of a lower adjacent channel is outputted from the adder 46 and a residual luminance signal y(n)Y of a lower adjacent channel is outputted from the subtractor 47. |
