A labelling aid to assist in the uniform and proper labelling of an item desired or required to be labelled with more than one label, so as to make said labelling fool-proof or fail-safe, consisting essentially of a plurality of different pressuresensitive labels, each having an exposed face and a reverse face, and each having information indicia on the exposed face thereof and each having pressuresensitive adhesive on the reverse face thereof, said reverse faces being releasably secured to a unitary backing sheet or web, and (1) the information indicia on the exposed faces thereof being different but (2) the information indicia on the exposed faces of the said plurality of labels pertaining to a single item to which said plurality of labels are desired or required to be affixed, whereby the opportunity for improper or incorrect labelling of an item requiring labelling with a plurality of different labels is substantially decreased, is disclosed.
