PURPOSE: To provide a simple assembly for an excellent furniture for sitting with reference to its strength by constituting so that two sets of studs for assembly are respectively formed as unified bodies with respective two intermediate fore and back leg parts of respective components and they are engaged and fastened with the housings of the two adjacent shell parts. CONSTITUTION: The studs 15&16 for assembly of both side sections 2&3 of an armchair are put in the housings 17&18 for assembly of corresponding frame members 6&7 of a shell 1. Next, screws 41&42 are put in the holes formed at the bottom of the studs 15&16 for assembly and further, the screws are put in bushings 45&46 which are formed as protrusions within the housings 17&18. Still further, in order to strengthen the linkage structure between both side sections 2&3 and the shell 1, the studs 15&16 for assembly are relationally connected to parts 29&30. In this case, a bench is structured when a pair of the shell 1 are linked and held to each other by using intermediate back leg 4 and intermediate fore leg 5.
