PURPOSE:To obtain a card-shaped memory at a card-edge-type price with reliability equivalent to a two-piece type by constructing a circuit with electrical connection by a connecting means to an external terminal inserted from the opening of a card mainframe. CONSTITUTION:An external terminal 8 inserted from the opening 4 of a card mainframe 1 has contact with the upper face of a connecting means 5 made of aeolotropic conductive rubber or similar material and is electrically connected to the terminal portion of a printed board 3 located thereunder. As a result, a circuit is constructed between a semiconductor memory 2 and the external terminal 8 on the printed board 3 to perform function as an external memory or a program source. It is thus possible to obtain a card-shaped memory at an almost equal price to a card-edge-type card-shaped memory with high reliability equivalent to a two-piece type. |
