PURPOSE:To obtain a deposited polyester film having excellent interlayer adhesive properties to a metal deposited layer and specially excellent adhesive properties in the presence of water by imparting thermal hystory of glass transition temperature or higher to a covered polyester film in deposition for forming an inorganic material deposited layer. CONSTITUTION:Polyester used for a coating layer is substantially water insoluble and moisture dispersible. Dicarboxylic acid component for forming the polyester contains 0.5-5mol% of dicarboxylic acid having sulfonic acid metal base and 50mol% or more of aromatic dicarboxylic acid. Polyester is obtained by using the dicarboxylic acid component and polyhydric alcohol component by means of a melting polycondensation method, and water is added thereto to prepare moisture dispersion. A base material film is coated with aqueous dispersion containing the obtained polyester, thermoset at the glass transition temperature or higher of the polyester film, and aluminum is deposited on the surface of the coating layer of the coated film by a vacuum deposition method. Thus, a deposited polyester film having excellent adhesive properties of an inorganic deposited layer to the base material film is obtained. |
