PURPOSE:To designate an optional number of areas of optional shape with memory configuration of a small capacity and low cost by devising the device such that a bus is efficiently in use with a CPU and a direct memory access controller. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 calculating a picture processing area for each main scanning line at a high speed based on designated area information stored in an area information storage means 23 and a direct memory access controller 26 transferring an area data being the result of calculation stored in the area information storage means 23 to shift registers 24, 26 at a high speed are devised to use a bus efficiently. Then an area of an optional shape is designated with simple architecture, small capacity and low cost memory configuration. |
