PURPOSE:To obtain the generator of simple constitution, in small size and inexpensively by providing a charging reactor, charging a charge/discharge capacitor with the electromagnetic energy therein stored when a switch means is deenergized, and controlling the energizing width of the switch means. CONSTITUTION:When a switch means 17 is suddenly deenergized, an electromagnetic energy stored in a charge reactor 12 charges a charge/discharge capacitor 14. When the charging is finished, a succeeding energizing signal a1 energizes the switch means 17 at the succeeding point of time. In such a case, the generation period of the signal a1 is made constant and the energizing width of the signal a1 is varied by a monostable multivibrator 21 in a control circuit 19. Thus, the energizing width of the switch means 17 is changed and the electromagnetic energy stored in the charging reactor 12 is changed. As a result, the charging voltage of the charge/discharge capacitor 14 is made variable. Thus, no output controller is provided to the power supply. |
