The present invention provides a device fox detecting unlawful take-out of merchandise, comprising a first body-weighing means provided at an entrance gate, a card issuing means provided also thereat, a card reading means provided at an exit gate, a second body-weighing means provided also thereat, a detector means so provided as to compare the first-measured and and the second-measured weights and dispatch a warning signal when it detected an increase therebetween, and a control means to control the operations of all said means.
