The tandem helicopter and sailplane which is driven by muscle power. The muscle power is applied through pedals (30) which can slide in straight horizontal guides (Ph). Each pedal is connected by a rod (C) to a chainwheel fitted with two wheels so that each pedal drives the chainwheel on the forward stroke but free-wheels on the return stroke. The chainwheel drives the roadwheel (RR) and the helicopter rotors or the sailplane to be applied throughout the stroke of each pedal. USE - Muscle powered aircraft.
