DEVICE, STANDARD BLANKS AND STANDARDIZED ELECTRODES FOR MILLING BY ELECTROEROSION

The device for EDM milling machine is intended to the turning or touching up of an electrode-tool (4) and is comprised of a tool-holder (3) fixed to the rotating spindle (2) mounted on the machining head (1) of the EDM machine, the tool holder (3) fixes automatically a standardized electrode or a blank of standard shape (4), and maintains just as well both during its turning or its touching up as during the machining. It is never necessary to dismount said blank or said electrode (4), except to discard and/or replace it. An auxiliary tool (6) is fixed to the working table (17) of the EDM milling machine. The tool (6) is fixed on a support (16) provided with a reference sphere (11) for electric touch. It is a chisel or a cutter with constant profile.
