PURPOSE:To scan an inspecting surface perpendicularly at an equal speed by disposing an optical fiber bundle in opposition and parallel to the inspecting surface in the state of arranging the projection side end faces of the respective optical fibers thereto linearly, and arranging the incident side end faces within one plane in order of the arrangement of the projection side end faces. CONSTITUTION:A spot light projecting means 10 irradiates spot light 13 to a diagonal mirror 14. When the mirror 14 is rotated at an equal speed around a horizontal revolving shaft 16, the spot light 13 is reflected by a circular conical reflecting mirror 15, and is projected sequentially at an equal speed on the insident side end faces 11b of an optical fiber bundle 9. Therefore, the spot light 13 is projected sequentially at an equal speed toward an inspecting surface 12 from the respective projection side end faces 11a of the bundle 9, whereby the equal speed scanning is accomplished together with the vertical scanning. |
