The drum brake (1) has inner brake shoes (3) swivel mounted on an axially fixed brake support plate (2) and supported on same with their side faces on several bearing elements (4) fixed on the support plate. The bearing elements (4) are each uncoupled from the brake suppot plate (2) by rubber-elastic fastening. The bearing elements (4) can each have projections (7) pressed into rubber or rubber-like studs (2) fitted into fastening holes (5) in the brake support plate. USE/ADVANTAGE - Disturbing noises from drum brakes are now avoided.
