PURPOSE:To eliminate mis-calling, by reading a telephone number corresponding to the content of comparison, when the result of comparison is coincident in a telephone set which can handle symbols other than figures and transmitting a selection signal based on the coincidence to an exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set which can handle symbols other than figures is provided with a conversion list 7 storing name, style of store, and corresponding telephone number, and when an input signal from a dial 3 is coincident with the list 7, the telephone set is connected with a telephone line and a selection signal is transmitted based on a telephone number in the telephone number column of the list 7. Thus, troubles of looking at memo or indexing a telephone book can be avoided and an erroneous calling can be avoided. |
