<p>PURPOSE:To draw a graphic on a screen with the sense of handling the head of a free parallel rule device and writing tools by allowing one cursor device to move and rotate a right-angled scale line and allowing the other cursor device to designate a coordinate position. CONSTITUTION:When an operator draws the graphic on a digitizer 4, the right- angled scale line on the digitizer 4 is moved to a target position, rotated by a deseired angle to draw the graphic on the digitizer with the right-angled scale line as a reference by operating a second control cursor device 54. Even if the designated position of the cursor device 6 does not coincide with the scale of the right-angled scale line when the first cursor device designates the one scale of the right-angled scale line 64, the designated position is rounded by the scale in the shortest distance from the designated position, and the coordinate of the scale is inputted to a controller as the coordinate of the designated position. Thus, an operation can be executed with the sense of handling the free parallel rule.</p> |
