<p>A sanitary article contains a layer (1) of absorbent material firmly connected to a layer (2) of resilient material. The side of the layer (2) of resilient material remote from the absorbent layer (1) is provided with a permanent adhesive (3) which is covered by a peel-off strip (4). The side of the absorbent layer (1) remote from the resilient layer (2) is provided with a surface layer (10) which does not adhere to wounds. The material of the absorbent layer (1) is stitched to the material of the resilient layer (2). This article is very absorbent and the individual layers adhere to each other very firmly.</p> |
