Connecting element for profiled rods - has clamping members and screws avoiding processing of rod end
摘要
The connecting element which clamps two profiled rods comprises a basic body with two clamping members (4) seated in slits. The clamping members are held by two clamping screws (5) turned half way into the threaded bores of the basic body until the connecting element is fixed at the end of the purified rod (2). The element is fixed by an internal hexagonal screw which sits in the recess of the basic body and is turned into the thread, and also the clamping members (4) are guided into the rear-cut longitudinal grooves of the profiled rod in order then by rotating the clamping screws with their control end (8) into the conical bore of the clamping members (4) to draw the clamping members towards the screw surface (20) and thus clamp the profiled rod between the clamping face and the lower side (11) of the clamping members. USE/ADVANTAGE - Connecting element for profiled rods with min. processing of rod end.
