New fibrin specific thrombolytic agent v-PA

摘要

(A) Pure protein is thrombolytic, activates plasminogen in the presence of fibrin but not in the presence of fibrinogen, and is allosteric; (B) isolated DNA encoding the protein of (A); (C) a microorganism transformed with a vector comprising DNA of (B) are also claimed. Pref., (A) is V-PA-alpha1,2-beta or -gamma, from the saliva of bats of the genus Desmodus spp. V-PA alpha 1 and 2 are high mol. forms each consisting of a finger domain, an epidermal growth factor (EGF) domain, a Kringle domain and a protease domain; V-PA beta (III) is a molecular form consisting of an EGF domain, a Kringle domain and a protease domain, and V-PA gamma (IV) is low mol. form consisting of a Kringle domain and a protease domain with specified properties.
